HOW TO PLAY CONTROL THE CHINESE LION HEAD Move the mouse cursor around the screen to control the lion's head. Flutter the eyelids by rapidly clicking the left mouse button. Hold the left mouse button down to open mouth, wag tail and raise ears. GET THE LUCKY LETTUCE! On the second scene move the cursor to the top of the screen to stand the lion up on his hind legs. Move the cursor to the left or right of the lion to make him walk. Hold the left mouse button down over the lettuce to grab it with his mouth. Move the cursor to the bottom of the screen to make the lion jump down on all fours. Hold the left mouse button down and shake the mouse left and right to fling the cabbage leaves about. This will "spread the good fortune". Grab the red money pockets too if you can! |

FIVE FUN FACTS The Chinese lion dance is usually performed by a pair of highly skilled kung-fu experts. This toy is based on the southern style lion, while the northern style appears more dog like. The mirror attached to the forehead is said to ward off evil spirits. The beak shaped horn represents the phoenix, while the beard is derived from the Asian dragon. The backdrop photo-shoot took place in London's cool Chinatown district. |
